LISA'S ANIMAL TALES: HOW TO GET A CAT INTO A CAT CARRIER

It was quite a scene at my house this morning try get my cat Reggie into his cat carrier!

He hasn't been feeling well so I took him in to the vet yesterday. I didn't have too much of a problem yesterday because I was able to lure him in with a cat treat.

I was supposed to take him back this morning after he had fasted for 12 hours. They wanted to do an ultra sound. Well Reggie knew what was up, and wanted no part of it. It was like a comedy skit chasing him all over the house trying to get him into the carrier. He was hiding under the bed, then jumping on top of the kitchen cupboards -- it was a nightmare.

I actually had to call and cancel the appointment. Thankfully my significant other is a cat whisperer, so I'll have him get Reggie into the carrier when we reschedule the appointment.

In the meantime, I found a couple of videos that illustrate how to get a cat into a cat carrier, which you can watch here.

I also found this article at HillsPet.com and this one at from Jackson Galaxy's website HERE.

Hopefully you have better luck than I did getting your fur baby into a carrier.
