It was a full house last night at the Paul McCartney concert at Oriole Park at Camden Yards!
I thoroughly enjoyed myself -- the band was fantastic, the set list was incredible, and even though Paul's voice was shaky for much of the show, he made up for it with his storytelling and general 'Paulness.'
'Live & Let Die' is always one of the highlights of any McCartney show, complete with pyrotechnics and fireworks, and last night was no exception. The video is at the bottom of this post.
My favorite moments of the night came when he performed 'Get Back,' and when he started the encore with an emotional rendition of 'I've Got A Feeling,' which he performed with a virtual John Lennon. Check out the video below.
Paul went on just past 8:30 after a 30-minute career retrospective film. He played until about 11:15 -- not bad for a guy who turns 80 this Saturday! I thought it was a great set list, and definitely appreciated that he threw in 'You Never Give Me Your Money' and 'She Came In Through the Bathroom Window,' songs he has never performed live until this tour.
