It looks like we start the Memorial Day weekend with some rain in the forecast, but the weather looks spectacular for Sunday and Monday!

Whatever you have planned, be sure and tune in to BIG 100 for our annual BIG 500! We'll be counting down the 500 greatest classic rock songs of all time starting at noon on Friday.

The countdown hours are Friday noon to midnight, Saturday 11a-9p, Sunday 6a-midnight, and Monday 6a until we finish - probably around dinnertime.

The National Memorial Day Parade down Constitution Avenue is on Monday from 2-5 p.m.

This weekend is also the Rally to Remember motorcycle rally. This used to be called Rolling Thunder. It's a bit smaller than in previous years, but definitely worth participating in. Head down near the Vietnam Veterans Memorial on Sunday to see the riders pay their respects, raise awareness about those still missing, and about the rising rates of veterans who die by suicide.

The Nationals are hosting the Rockies this Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Looking ahead at the weather, Sunday will probably be the best day for the ballpark. But, it'll be worth going on Friday for Juan Soto bobblehead night!

Whether you're headed to the beach, the mountains, or staying local this weekend, I hope you will take a moment to remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom.
