Bodycam Footage of Johnny Damon's Arrest Released and It's a Doozy

In February, former MLB star Johnny Damon was arrested and charged with multiple offenses including driving under the influence and resisting arrest without violence. Damon's BAC was reportedly .30, four times the legal limit. And now, officer bodycam footage from the incident has been released.

In the six-minute clip, Damon can be seen scuffling with the officer, bombing the field sobriety tests, and brings up support for former president Donald Trump. Damon even admits to having had alcohol to the officer.

The officer orders Damon and his wife, who was a passenger in the vehicle, to stay in the SUV, but neither comply. At one point between the pushing and shoving that takes place, the officer's camera gets knocked to the ground. Thankfully, backup arrives as it becomes apparent that Damon and his wife repeatedly fail to follow the officer's directions.

Both of them repeatedly use the phase "blue lives matter" and Damon says at one point, "Hey bro, I'm a good f***ing guy. I know people are trying to target me because I'm a Trump supporter."

He is also put through field sobriety tests... and does not do well.

Damon and his wife were both arrested. Damon has plead not guilty and is due back in court in May.
