Soccer Player Leaves on Stretcher After Devastating Light Touch to the Neck

If you're a soccer/football fan, one of the problems that plagues the sport is flopping, or faking an injury in order to gain an advantage.

Perhaps one of the most egregious cases of flopping was seen earlier this month between to La Liga teams, Cadiz and Granada.

Granada's Roberto Soldado can be seen grabbing the neck of Cadiz's Ivan Alejo. Not a forceful grab or one that would cause any sort of injury under normal life circumstances, but this is soccer we're talking about,

Next thing you know, Alejo is on the ground writhing in pain. He eventually is taken off the pitch in a stretcher for his "injury."

Soldado (rightfully) didn't get any sort of foul or punishment for the act. Alejo even returned to the match later. The teams ended up tying 1-1.
