The Rock and Roll for Children Foundation (RRFC) will have some of the world’s best Rock and Roll performers headlining their 2020 annual benefit concert on March 21 at the Fillmore Silver Spring which raises funds for The Children’s Inn at NIH.
The featured performers for this year’s event are Ricky Byrd, 2015 Hall of Fame Inductee with Joan Jett and the Blackhearts, the “beehive Queen” Christine Ohlman, Saturday Night Live band vocalist, Liberty DeVitto, drummer for Billy Joel’s band, Brian Howe from Bad Company, Felicia Collins, guitarist from the CBS Orchestra/David Letterman Show band, Rob Arthur, the keyboardist for Peter Frampton, Southside Johnny's New York Horns (Chris Anderson, Neal Pawley, John Isley) and Jeff Adams, the bassist for Starship. Also appearing are Sara Niemietz, vocalist for Postmodern Jukebox and renown guitarist Snuffy Walden. Local favorites, The Peacemakers, will kick off the night followed by the All Star Band.
Attendees will enjoy an evening of unforgettable live performances while also having the opportunity to bid on a unique collection of live and silent auction items including instruments signed by Paul McCartney, Bruce Springsteen, Tom Petty, AC/DC and The Rolling Stones. Additional items include other autographed memorabilia, a special Washington Nationals ticket package and vacation packages to destinations around the world.
