Some thieves are brilliant and get away scot-free. Some are not so brilliant and are easily caught. And some are in between.
Surveillance footage from a restaurant called RJ Fish & Chicken in Chicago shows a burglar pick the lock and enter the store after it had closed for the night. He wraps a nylon strap around an ATM situated in the front corner of the place while someone else in a minivan pulls up to the front, with the other end of the strap attached to it.
Then, the man inside waves to the driver of the minivan to give him the go-ahead and the minivan takes off, ripping the ATM through the front of the store, taking out the entire door. The ATM also flies straight into the dude's hip and knocks him over. He gets up and hobbles over to the minivan and they get away.
I have a feeling that cash they got out of the ATM will have to go to this dude's medical bills.
