Drug Dealer Busted After Recording Deals Going Down on His Own Dashcam

Generally if you're in the business of selling illegal drugs you do your best to make sure there is a minimal amount of evidence to pin you to the crime if you ever get caught. But also some drug dealers aren't the brightest people on the planet.

Case in point, this dude in Wales unknowingly recorded over two hours of video and audio on his car's dashcam that have him on the phone setting up deals and driving to make said deals.

Scott Curtis, 45, was pursued by police on a highway and was seen throwing a small bag of cocaine and heroin out of his window. The cops recovered it and arrested Curtis. Afterwards, the police obtained a search warrant to enter Curtis' residence. There, they found more illegal drugs and a copy of dashcam footage from his car showing the drug deals going down.

Curtis initially dismissed the charges he was facing, claiming the drugs the cops found were for his personal use only. But the cops played back the dashcam footage for him and Curtis changed his mind and plead guilty to all of the charges.

He will spend two-and-a-half years behind bars.
