Amazon has apologized to a woman after she recorded a video of a delivery driver taking a dump in the garden behind her house.
Rebekah Read, who lives in the UK, posted the video she recorded of the man, saying, "Amazon... what a pile of 💩 it is literally what they deliver to you!"
A man wearing a work vest can be seen squatting in the garden. When he's finished dropping off the extra package, he can been seen tossing the used TP behind him before hopping over the fence to get back to work.
Read says, "He was confronted and didn't give a 💩... We have evidence of who you are and your vehicle, Amazon you need to sort this out immediately! Disgraceful behaviour from an employee of yours and for you to just say you'll sort it... 48 hours later it's still there! Everyone check your garden for 💩."
Amazon responded to the incident, saying the driver works for a third-party that the company uses to make deliveries for them. "We have very high standard for our delivery service providers and how they serve customers. We are taking this matter seriously and have reached out to the customer to apologize for the experience and offer our support," a spokesperson said.
