Wild packs of menacing street monkeys are taking over a city in India as their natural habitats have been desecrated. In a city called Vrindavan, surveillance footage captures the moment a shop owner parks his motorcycle and then is attacked by monkeys, forcing him to the ground.
The man went on social media to call for action against the street monkeys, saying the threat of being attacked is so common that people are avoiding leaving their homes.
Growth in urbanization and deforestation in Indian state of Uddar Pradesh has lead to the rise of aggressive packs of monkeys who are looking for food after their natural sources of sustenance have been diminished.
