Thanks to Ctrl Shift Face on YouTube, AI learning has been put to its full glory and we are seeing the brilliant results of "deepfakes" in movies. Basically, an actor's face and expressions are put into a program and are matched up to a real actor's face in a video so it appears they are in the film. It's not perfect but give it a few more years and I'm guessing it will be hard to tell the difference.
The latest video features The Shining, except Jack Nicholson's face has been replaced with Jim Carrey. Carrey made a name for himself on late-night TV doing impressions of Nicholson so it looks pretty natural that Carrey himself could have pulled this one off in real life.
