MMA Dude Penalized for Kicking His Opponent in the Butthole

MMA fights can be pretty ruthless as two opponents essentially are trying to inflict as much damage as possible onto each other. Even though there are rules in place to keep the fighting as clean as possible, there are instances where a fighter's temper gets the best of them.

In a recent match that took place in London between lightweights Alfie Davis and Jorge Kanella, a dirty kick lead to Kanella being penalized.

At one point in their match, Davis is on his back with his legs in the air facing Kanella when Kanella takes a cheap shot at Davis. Kanella kicks Davis right in his undercarriage, leading to a one point reduction.

In a post-fight interview, Davis says he was leaning back to get momentum to get back to his feet when Kanella kicked him.

The interviewer asks him, "This is a technical question, it was a 'nutshot' rather than a toe up the rear end? Because that's what it looked like on the camera."

Davis replies, "Yeah, well it slid up. When I stood up it was right in the gooch... unfortunately I was kicked right in it and it did hurt and it slid up into my, uh, into the private parts, so it wasn't nice."

Davis won the fight by an unanimous decision.
