The first trailer for Star Wars: Episode IX is here. The new film which comes out in December is titled Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. J.J. Abrams, who directed The Force Awakens, is back in the director's seat for the third and final installment of the new trilogy. Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac and Adam Driver all return to play their respective roles. Billy Dee Williams, who played Lando Calrissian in Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi will make an appearance in The Rise of Skywalker. Mark Hamill is also listed as playing Luke Skywalker in the film and his voice is heard in the trailer. Carrie Fisher makes an appearance in the film via archived footage that was unused in the previous two films.
