During a live performance by Hairball, a cover band that calls itself "a bombastic celebration of arena rock" had a crazy moment on stage in Sioux City, Iowa over the weekend.
The band was performing the KISS song "Detroit Rock City" with the singer of the song dressed up like Paul Stanley when pyrotechnics were set off leading into the first verse. The crowd was taken by surprise from the sudden explosion of sparks and then a few seconds later when "Paul's" wig catches on fire.
The bass play of Hairball immediately sees what's happening and tries to put out the flames and then calls for help. Thankfully, two crew members come out and are able to put out the flames.
The best part? They don't miss a single beat and the crowd goes wild after the fire is gone.
