Rolling Stone magazine recently compiled a list of the 100 Greatest Metal Albums of All-Time and noticed that Ozzy Osbourne, whether as a member of Black Sabbath or his solo outfit, showed up quite a bit.
The magazine reached out to Osbourne during the process of putting together the list to hear his take on what his favorite metal albums of all-time are. His top 10 list includes AC/DC, Led Zeppelin, Alice in Chains and Judas Priest and every album feels like it deserves to be on his list.
His top 10, in alphabetical order are:
- AC/DC – Highway to Hell
- Alice in Chains – Facelift
- Guns N' Roses – Appetite for Destruction
- Judas Priest – British Steel
- Led Zeppelin – Led Zeppelin IV
- Megadeth – Rust in Peace
- Metallica – Master of Puppets
- Motorhead – Ace of Spades
- Pantera – Cowboys from Hell
- Rob Zombie – Hellbilly Deluxe
