Police went ham trying to detain a robbery suspect on the University of Michigan's Diag. A police vehicle tore through the quad, slamming into a light post and dragging it across the center of campus while officers on foot chased down the suspect.
Students are seen fleeing the area with the police vehicle seemingly losing control while driving on the damp grass.
According to Michigan Daily, the police were trying to detain the suspect as quickly as possible because he was fleeing towards a campus library which could have caused further problems.
The man was detained by police.
