A high-speed police chase ended in incredible fashion when the driver of a stolen pickup truck hit a spike strip going approximately 115mph, causing the driver to enter a ditch then exit it launching the truck into the air.
According to Jalopnik, the incident occurred in Louisiana. An 18-year old man, who was an escaped prisoner, took control of the vehicle when it's owner was stopped by police.
The report states the truck landed on a woman sitting in her vehicle in the parking lot of a restaurant. Fortunately, the woman was able to escape unharmed and the suspect was taken into custody.
