The iconic heavy metal band Iron Maiden has announced their 2017 North American tour, a continuation of the band's "The Book of Souls World Tour."
25 tour dates have been announced, with more to follow. The band's first date on the tour is at Jiffy Lube Live in Bristow, VA on June 3rd. Ghost will open for the band.
Steve Harris says, "We are really looking forward to returning to North America for a full tour. We had always planned to go back there and to the UK last year... so this year we're able to reach more cities in America, including a return to places Maiden haven't played for many, many years... We will, of course, be bringing the full production with us including all the Eddies and the Maya-themed stage sets."
"The Book of Souls Tour" is named after the band's most recent studio album, The Book of Souls which came out in 2015. The album debuted at #1 in the UK and #4 on the US Billboard 200.
