Metallica's Marching Band Competition is back for its second year.
Colleges and high schools around the U.S. can submit their interpretations of Metallica songs for a chance to win. There are five categories and each will have three winners who will receive instruments and gear for their school's music program.
This year's competition has already kicked off and will be open through September 23rd.
Last year, over 500 colleges and high schools in the U.S. participated in Metallica's Marching Band Competition.
The Marching Cougars from Oakton High School (Vienna, VA) were one of last year's winners. Check out their winning entry below.
