Name: Applesauce
Breed: Domestic Shorthair
Gender: Female (spayed)
Age: 1 year 4 months
Weight: 6 lbs
Organization: City Dogs & City Kitties Rescue
Applesauce is enthusiastic at all things, whether it is play, trying to make friends with resident feline and non-feline animals, or biscuit making. Her ideal home is likely a busy one with a friendly resident feline to keep her company and laps that she can snuggle into when she has a quiet moment. She is approaching her year anniversary with the rescue.
Applesauce is one of City Kitties' FIP survivors, having started the long treatment in January and been declared cured in July. Since then, she has patiently been waiting for her forever home.
* FIP - it is a mutation of a common coronavirus that most cats are exposed to at some point - but there is treatment available now after many years of it being a death sentence. CK is a rescue that will treat their foster diagnosed and help CK adopters connect with resources for treatment.
She is currently fostered at @borisanddaisy on IG and her profile can be found at https://www.shelterluv.com/embed/animal/CDCK-A-26730
