WalletHub ranked cities in the U.S. on a number of factors -- from work stress to financial stress to family stress and health and safety stress -- and determined that these are the most Top 5 most stressed cities in the country:
- Cleveland, Ohio
- Detroit, Michigan
- Baltimore, Maryland
- Birmingham, Alabama
- Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
On the other end of the stress scale, these cities have the least-stressed residents:
- South Burlington, Vermont
- Fremont, California
- Sioux Falls, South Dakota
- Oakland Park, Kansas
- Fargo, North Dakota
Washington, D.C. ranked #31 on the list of most stressed out cities, although we ranked #1 as far as work stress.
