A North Carolina animal shelter is looking for a forever home for an unusual pair of pals.
A dog named Felix and a goat named Cinnamon were brought to the shelter together earlier this month after their owner couldn't care for them anymore. Workers at the shelter were stunned by their unusual bond, considering that they've seen what some dogs have done to goats.
The best friends are inseparable, and as a result, the shelter will only place them in the home of an adopter who can take both of them. While they're not sure how old they are, they are both house-trained.
The director of the shelter says, "Whatever the reason for these two bonding, it's clear what would be best for their well-being is to keep them together." They've received some interest and hope to find them a new home by the end of the week.
