Akron, Ohio police are looking for a man who was recorded firing a handgun in the direction of a group of children playing basketball.
A group of 11 and 15-year old boys were playing hoops on the street where they lived on Sunday and at around 4:30pm, a white Pontiac G6 with temporary tags sped down the street, scaring a few of the kids in having to jump out of the road to avoid being hit.
The kids yelled at the driver to slow down, and he pulled over a couple of houses down from where the kids were playing. The man, allegedly in his 20s, exited the vehicle, and said to them, "next time I'll make sure I hit you," and called the children expletives. One of the kids responded to the man, telling him not to talk to them like that and that's when he pulled out a handgun and fired three shots in their general direction before getting back in the car and driving away.
Thankfully no one was injured and no buildings were struck either, according to police.
Detectives are currently trying to track down the driver.
