There's a growing sentiment that if you're going to help the homeless holding signs on the side of the road, it's best to give them food, water and/or clothing instead of cash.
There have been a number of stories of people begging for cash only it turns out they aren't actually homeless and are just taking advantage of people's generosity.
And here we have another possible example of someone faking being homeless to scam people out of money. A dude is recorded holding a sign at an intersection in Florida, then as he walks to a nearby parking lot where a Mercedes-Benz SUV is parked.
The dude recording keeps asking the guy why he's taking money for people even though he's driving a nice car and he doesn't seem to have an answer.
