Despite the efforts of members of 'Save the Rock Creek Park Deer,' the National Park Service has allowed the killing of deer in Rock Creek Park since 2013.
The desired effect of this was to lower the population of deer in the park, however a new study has shown that exactly the opposite has happened and the population has increased.
Anne Barton from 'Save the Rock Creek Park Deer' explains the situation, and discusses humane ways of coexisting with wildlife.
