The owner of a nearly 300-thousand dollar sports car is learning the hard way to slow down.
Police in Fairfax County say a driver who had just bought his McLaren 720S Friday sped into a tree in Great Falls Saturday.
The driver suffered non-life threatening injuries but his car was destroyed. Fairfax police posted a photo of the mangled metal on Instagram, pleading with people to slow down.
