PETE TOWNSHEND with DEEP END
Recorded: The Pavilion, Paris, France, November 29, 1979
In the fall of 1979, British prog-rockers Supertramp were enjoying their biggest success. The songwriting efforts of Rick Davies and Rodger Hodgson produced several chart busting singles, and a #1 album, Breakfast In America.
On November 29th, 1979, the band performed live at the Pavilion in Paris, France. During the recording of this show, each instrument was given its own dedicated track on the soundboard. The audience also had its own track. This technique gave the recording a truly pristine sound.
