A Led Zeppelin documentary called Led Zeppelin Played Here, which was recently shown at the Florida Film Festival, will also be screened at festivals in Philadelphia, Nashville and Chicago.
The film concerns a long-rumored rumor that Zep performed at the Wheaton Youth Center in Wheaton, Maryland on January 20th, 1969, the same day Richard Nixon was sworn in as president.
Some insist that Zep actually performed for 50 people, but others call it a myth. Documentarian Jeff Krulik put together the film, which features interviews with DJs, promoters, archivists, historians and members of the band. For the full schedule log onto LedZeppelinPlayedHere.com.
