LISA'S ANIMAL TALES: OLDEST DOG EVER

A 23-year-old Chihuahua named Spike was recognized by Guinness World Records as the world's oldest living dog last month, but het didn't get to hold the title very long.

A 30-year-old dog in Portugal named Bobi was just declared the world's oldest living dog, and the world's oldest dog ever. The purebred Rafeiro do Alentejo, which is a breed with an average lifespan of 12-to-14 years, was born on May 11th, 1992.

His family says he has difficulty walking and his eyesight has worsened, but he is very sociable and enjoys playing with his cat siblings.

They also remarked, "Bobi is special because looking at him is like remembering the people who were part of our family and unfortunately are no longer here, like my father, my brother, or my grandparents who have already left this world. Bobi represents those generations."
