A Canadian couple is coming to the rescue of a skunk after it got caught inside a plastic ice cream container.

Bryan and Mira O'Conner said they made multiple attempts at capturing the skunk after they saw it on camera walking with a plastic dome lid around its neck.

Bryan said the skunk was very thin and moving much slower than other ones observed in the neighborhood, which caused him to be concerned.

The couple got the help of the Critter Care Wildlife Society, who were able to trap the skunk without being sprayed. They were able to cut the lid off the skunk and took it back to Critter Care's facility for rehabilitation.
