Jimi Hendrix, Crosby Stills Nash & Young, The Band, Blood Sweat & Tears, and Joe Cocker were among the performers scheduled to perform on the final day of Woodstock.

But, a thunderstorm after Cocker's set delayed the festival.  As a result, many of the day's headlining acts did not play until Monday morning.  We're not just talking about the early morning hours, either.  Hendrix started at 9 AM on Monday morning.

Woodstock was only the second concert for Crosby, Stills, Nash, & Young.  The trio had released their first album in May of 1969.  They became a quartet with the addition of Neil Young soon after that.  Young does not appear in the Woodstock film because he was against being filmed.  Young felt that it would take away from the music.  He also only performed during the electric portion of the set.
