Legendary radio host Casey Kasem has been found, according to his daughter.

Kerri Kasem shared the good news on Facebook, "We are grateful to the local authorities for finding my Dad.  We are one step closer to bringing him home."

A representative of Kasem's children released a statement saying, "We have received confirmation that Casey Kasem has been found in Washington state.  The family has grave concerns about his medical care.  The Kasem family will do everything in their power to bring their father home."

Casey Kasem was reported to be missing earlier in the week.  Kerri was named as her father's temporary conservator after he was reported as missing.

The famous radio host has been at the center of a controversial family dispute.  His children claim that they have been unable to see their father because of their stepmother.

Generations heard Kasem's voice on the weekly "American Top 40" radio show.  He's also known as the voice of Shaggy from Scooby Doo.
