The movie about Queen and their late front-man, Freddie Mercury, has finally replaced Sasha Baron Cohen.

According to Deadline Hollywood, Ben Whishaw will portray the late Queen front-man in the biopic.

Whishaw is probably best known for his role as Q in the James Bond film, Skyfall.

Originally, Sasha Baron Cohen was cast to portray Mercury.  But, he left the project over disagreements with the surviving members of the band.

Cohen is best known for comedic roles such as Borat.  The band was concerned that the role would be a joke to him and the his personality would be distracting.

Freddie Mercury died on November 24, 1991 of complications from AIDS.
